New Level Requirements

The previous prayer requests, hopes, milestones, and expectations are now met. What do you do next?

Ever so often, we underestimate the challenges that come with the promotion, or better yet, a new level of life. Psalm 75:6-7"'This I know: the favor that brings promotion and power doesn't come from anywhere on earth, for no one exalts a person but God, the true judge of all. He alone determines where favor rests. He anoints one for greatness and brings another down to his knees."- TPT Version.

The author pragmatically reaffirms and confirm that it is the Lord who gives and grant promotion. Nevertheless, it is often assumed that when one conquers or overcomes the old problems it is an automatic advancement from problems all together. This idea does not fit the description of what we know life as or to be.

The world as it were is filled with problems and fissures alike, just about everything if not all has their own unique problems: Diamonds are made under severe pressure, Gold has to be burnt in order to reach its pureness, Butterflies have to cope with their "catterpillic" steps before they can fly, and while it takes less pressure to steam lush green broccoli it takes way lot more pressure to braise your expensive steak. From one extreme to the next, from one man to the other we all have problems.

Writing this blog was a problem, how do I balance the thoughts so the content will be palatable for both the Conservative and Liberal, Pessimist and Optimist, Christian and Non Christian, Disinterested and Interested, the Illiterate and literate who knows ? Only God I suppose.

Now that we can all agree that life comes with its unique challenges, so the thought is no longer life having its unique challenges but how people navigate them while thriving! And if you disagree then that is another problem but if you do agree let us move forward from this platitudinous fact and explore ways in managing our inevitable problems.

With the earlier insight from David, it points to the ultimate reality that exposes the cosmic conflict between God and the Devil:

1. Good vs Evil

2. Love vs Hate

3. Good Health vs Sickness

4. Wealth vs Poverty

It can be argued that while these listings above are mere expressions of the cosmic reality, God is bigger and greater than these representations. The latter part of the shared scripture "He anoints one for greatness and bring the others to his knees."

As you interact with this blog I am beckoning you to consider the interpretation, that it is not God's intention to harm His people, for whom He does not elevate He Humbles with the hope that those who prostrate themselves before Him will subsequently in a state of penitence will later experience God's elevation.

With that being said; An answered prayer doesn't eliminate you from the idea of dealing with problems, neither does it exempt you from facing the same.

The Adversary hates promotion! This trait got him into the situation he now finds himself.

John the "revelator" didactically express this idea in the last book of the Christian's Bible:

"Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray." -Revelation 12:7–10

It has always been the adversary's intention to operate as 'Lord' or 'Ruler' over this world while making our lives problematic and miserable. Consequently, we have to be very fixated on those things which are holy and are acceptable as mandated by God's words. New Levels mean new or possibly higher levels of problems and devils !

New Level New Devil!

This doesn't mean that God's blessings are far-fetched; it means you are expected to grow and become stronger for the next level and devil. Growing here means choosing the hard decisions irrespective of how you are feeling in that moment. David was anointed King but his inauguration was more than a decade later. While some problems are a result of our miscalculated choices, we do face other problems that occur as a result of the calculated choice we decided to make.

Problems and pain seem to have a symbiotic relationship, for rarely you will have one without the other, but when the problem we face spiral like a helix and rushes like a flood just know that, "the depth of your pain and problems identifies the magnitude or the height of the next level." -Fearon 2023. The management of problems and or pain are the hidden tenets for success and spring board you to the the next Level and to conquer the next Devil.
